oneness is not outward unity but the Triune God including us in His divine oneness!

This is one of my favorite songs of all times, especially since it speaks about the source of our oneness. We are not one because of any outward unity or agreement, but it is the Triune God who included us in His divine oneness! How wonderful is that! People in the world want to obtain oneness and seek all kinds of outward things or activities in which they can be one... - this is outward, it passes away, and is NOT the real oneness! The real oneness in this universe is the oneness of the Triune God enlarged to include humanity - we can be one in God's life!

Oneness is not outward unity but the Triune God including us in His divine Oneness!

Oneness is NOT unity, outward agreement,
But a life within - God's very life,
The Triune God included us
In His divine oneness! ONENESS!
Chorus: That they all may be one!
Even as You, Father,
Are in Me, and I in You!
That they may be - may be in Us!
Oneness! Oneness!
What is oneness? It is not something we decide to do and not even something that the circumstances or our family constrains us to have - no, it is the Triune God, who is One, bringing us into Himself! Oneness is a life within - God's life, the life of oneness, coming into us and living into us, bringing us into the divine oneness! There's no way for us human beings to be one - unless it is unto evil. But God is Triune and He is One - He is the Father, the Son, and the Spirit, Three Yet One, One yet Three, ONE! This is His main attribute, the most outstanding characteristic - God is One!

And in John 17:21 the Lord Jesus prayed for the disciples to be one just as the Son is in the Father and the Father is in the Son! What kind of a oneness is this? This is the Oneness of the Triune God - God the Father being one with God the Son and with God the Spirit, even the Father being IN the Son and IN the Spirit - now this oneness, which no man can understand, reproduce, or imitate, is enlarged to include us! We are in Christ, who is in the Father - we are ONE!

And, as a footnote / side note, we have enjoyed this song so much in the 2009 Winter School of truth in London, UK (see the youtube video of that)! Since then, though we may sing this song many times, we are bring brought into this deep realization - the Triune God included us in His divine oneness, and the deep desire in God's heart is being accomplished by us being in our mingled spirit, where the oneness is! Hallelujah, ONENESS!

What would be your prayer to the Lord for the new year?

This is a question that all the believers in Christ have asked themselves before the end of 2011 and probably even in these first few days of the new year, 2012. What would be your prayer to the Lord for the new year? I asked this question on Facebook on the 31st of December 2011 and I had so many good prayers from my friends - so I was thinking to post them online here on the blog. You can also place a comment below with YOUR prayer to the Lord for this year - what is in your heart as a prayer to your Beloved Lord Jesus concerning year 2012? Oh, Lord...

What would be your prayer to the Lord for the new year?

  • That I would humble myself when I come to His Word to receive His speaking and shining.
  • Oh Lord Jesus, deliver us from self and save us to the uttermost, spirit, soul and body. Oh Lord Jesus, prepare us as Your overcomers to rule and reign with You! Oh Lord Jesus, we consecrate our lives afresh unto You, no longer I but only You Lord! Let Christ be expressed in everything. Oh Lord Jesus!
  • To open myself to much more to the Lord's grace for the sake of shepherding the younger college brothers.
  • That we would have a fresh love towards the Lord, to have a single and pure heart for the Lord. That we would see Him afresh, to have a controlling vision that would direct our living - for His body!
  • To pray more for his heart's desire
  • To pray more for Europe!
  • To realise that God has a need!
  • To enjoy Him more
  • Please come!!!
  • 'Lord Jesus, Your will be done in us!'
  • Lord, give me a heart for Your house!
  • Dear Lord, we allow You all work in us; become our true Reality and make us Your Testimony!
  • Dear Lord Jesus ... I only want to enjoy you MORE!!!
  • A deeper experience of resurrection life for the Body of Christ.
  • O Lord, deepen the pure flow of life! That we would give you the first place in all things!
  • To know Him and the power of His resurrection, being conformed to His death.
  • I was thinking about this question... It's good to "set goals" and bring them to the Lord, even "give them to the Lord to pass through death and resurrection". Lord, make Your heart's desire be my heart's desire, and may Your will (Christ and the church) be done in my life! Gain the building! Prepare the Bride! Come, Lord Jesus!
  • Jesus, take care about all saints in every city!
  • Lord Jesus, we consecrate ourselves to you to be your stepping stone for you to come back SOON. Do not pass me by. It's now. It's us.
  • Lord, may Christ be our life and the church as our living where we spend our time (in our mingled spirit). More spirit, more church.
  • Lord Jesus, be my new beginning each day of the coming year!
  • Lord Jesus, I need Your grace in this coming year. Make me into what You would have me to be. May I enjoy, experience and express You daily.
  • Lord, use me this year. Speak through me to those around me, so that they too may be saved.
I have omitted the names of the saints / my facebook friends who shared these prayers, and I may have not posted some of them. Concerning the last week / day and first week / day of the year, it is very good to be before the Lord concerning our life, our situation, our growth in life, our relationships, the things we have, our heart, out attitude, our accomplishments, our failures, and everything about us. Just to be open to Him - o, Lord... a new beginning with You! (picture source: Happy New Year)

Psalm 68 - to the choir director. Of David. A Psalm, a Song

I was recently encouraged to not only read the Bible, but also pray over the Word of God and make the Word of God my prayer, my breathing, my cry, and even my writing! So here it is, I want to make Psalm 68 not just my reading, not just a "copy + paste", but I want to write down this wonderful Psalm. This Psalm has in its verse some of the highest revelations in all the Psalms!

Psalm 68 - To the Choir Director. Of David. A Psalm; a Song
  1. Let God arise; let His enemies be scattered; and let those who hate Him flee before Him.
  2. As smoke is driven away, You will drive them away; as wax melts before fire, the wicked will perish before God.
  3. But the righteous will rejoice; they will exult before God and be glad with rejoicing.
  4. Sing to God; sing psalms to His name; triumph in Him who rides through the deserts - for Jah is His name - and exult before Him.
  5. A Father to the orphans and a Judge for the widows is God in His holy habitation.
  6. God causes the solitary to dwell in a household; He brings the prisoners forth into prosperity; but the rebellious dwell in a parched land.
  7. O God, when You went forth before Your people, when You marched through the desert, Sehah
  8. The earth trembled, the heavens also dripped, at the presence of God; Sinai there quaked at the presence of God, the God of Israel.
  9. You shed forth bountiful rain, O God; You confirmed Your inheritance when it languished.
  10. Your living flock dwelt in the land; in Your goodness You provided for the poor, o God.
  11. The Lord gives the command; the women who bear the glad tidings are a great host.
  12. The kings of the armies flee. They flee! And she who abides at home divides the spoil.
  13. Though you lie among the sheepfolds, there are dove wings covered with silver, and its pinions, with greenish-yellow gold.
  14. When the Almighty scattered the kings in the land, it snowed in Zalmon.
  15. O mighty mountain, o mountain of Bashan, o many-peaked mountain, o mountain of Bashan:
  16. Why do you look with envy, O many-peaked mountains, at the mountain on which God desires to dwell? Indeed Jehovah will dwell there forever.
  17. The chariots of God are twenty thousand, thousands upon thousands; the Lord is among them, as at Sinai, in the sanctuary.
  18. You have ascended on high; You have led captive those taken captive; You have received gifts among men, even the rebellious ones also, that Jehovah God may dwell among them.
  19. Blessed be the Lord, who day by day loads us with good; God is our salvation. Selah
  20. God is to us a God of deliverance, and with Jehovah the Lord are goings forth even from death.
  21. Indeed God will smash the head of His enemies, the hairy crown of him who goes about in his guiltiness.
  22. The Lord said, I will bring them again from Bashan; I will bring them again from the depths of the sea,
  23. That you may bathe your foot in blood, that the tongue of your dogs may have their portion from the enemies.
  24. They have seen Your goings, O God, the goings of my God, my King, in the sanctuary:
  25. Singers go before; players after; in the midst of virgins sounding the tambourines.
  26. Bless God in the congregations, even Jehovah, O you who are of the fountain of Israel.
  27. There are little Benjamin, who rules them, and the princes of Judah in their company, the princes of Zebulun, the princes of Naphtali.
  28. Your God has commanded your strength; strengthen, O God, that which You have done for us.
  29. Because of Your temple at Jerusalem, kings will bring a gift to You.
  30. Rebuke the animals of the reeds, the herd of bulls among the calves of the peoples, trampling on those who lust after silver; scatter the peoples who take delight in war.
  31. Nobles will come out of Egypt; Cush will quickly stretch out its hand to God.
  32. O kingdoms of the earth, sing to God, sing psalms to the Lord, Selah
  33. To Him who rides upon the ancient heaven of heavens. Behold, He utters His voice, a mighty voice.
  34. Ascribe strength to God; His excellence is over Israel, and His strength is in the skies.
  35. You are awesome, O God, from Your sanctuaries. The God of Israel, He gives strength and power to the people. Blessed be God!
Hallelujah! Blessed be God! [read the article that talks about this psalm - and for which article I posted this psalm here.]

wonderful testimonies from the Winter School of truth

I'm not sure whether you kept an eye on our other blog - the A-Godman is a Normal Christian blog, where we have recently posted some great testimonies from the recent Winter School of the Truth. We will try to link to some of them here, but you will have to visit the Testimonies page to find out what are the latest testimonies posted by the young people. What a privilege to come together under the Lord's speaking and be in the Word for a week! It changes our life - it changes our diet - it changes our concept! We are being renewed! Here are some of the testimonies:
  • the Triune God and the Person and the Work of Christ - I was serving with the younger group, and the title for the topic we went through was “The Triune God and the Person and the Work of Christ“. Even though the title sounds a little deep and intense, as with a lot of messages and in the times with the saints, what seemed at the outset to be quite big and daunting just turned into a gentle infusion of Christ, happening at the speed of life.
  • Our God is Triune to dispense Himself into us! - This year was my third Winter School, and I really enjoyed blending with young people from all over Europe once again! In my locality, I am the only young person, so I really treasure time spent with other young people. I found that that I didn’t have to worry about being ‘cool’ and just focus on consecrating that week to God. By doing this, I gained a lot and I found that even though it was a serving brother giving the message, God spoke to me through the message and I gained a better understanding of The Triune God, who He was as a person and what He accomplished
  • I certainly gained the Lord a lot in this time! - I am very happy that I could participate in the Winter School of Truth – I’m happy the Lord gave me this opportunity. I have experienced a lot this year. I enjoyed very much a lesson I learned related to my lost suitcase (I lost it at the London airport and got it back at the Warsaw airport – I did not have it for 6 days!) Why I say I enjoyed it is in the sense that I realized a lot of things by going through this experience. Before the departure I read a lot of verses on “faith”, that if there would be something I really believe in and give this to the Lord,...
  • What are the five main functions of the Bible? - This was my 3rd time I went to London for the Winter School of the Truth, and for me this might have been the most enjoyable and the most touching young people’s conference until now. The Lord opened my eyes wide and I came to realise many things concerning the Bible, the God-breathed-out Scriptures!
  • The Bible is God’s personal letter to us! - The Bible – A personal letter from God to his children. The Subject of the Winter school of Truth this year was the Bible, and what I enjoyed was that the Bible was a physical expression of God. God the Spirit is expressed through the Bible as His embodiment. God the Spirit resides in His Word and if we do not read it we cannot touch God, since the Bible is the dwelling place of God.
  • The Bible is truly the Word of God! - The completeness of the Bible. Bible does not hide anything. In the Lord Jesus’ genealogy it says that His ancestor was Solomon, who was born of David and Urias’ wife, Bathsheba. This history was not very glorious but it’s recorded in the Bible. If the Bible were written by men, they surely would have not included the sinful deeds of their forefathers. So, this proves that the Bible is the Word of God.
  • In the Bible we see God’s heart’s desire! - All Scriptures is God-breathed and profitable for teaching, for conviction, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, fully equipped for every good work (2 Tim 3:16-17).
These and many other articles filled with the enjoyment of Christ await you via the A-God-Man Blog :) Lord, make us those who continually enjoy You, whatever happens!
