Psalm 68 - to the choir director. Of David. A Psalm, a Song

I was recently encouraged to not only read the Bible, but also pray over the Word of God and make the Word of God my prayer, my breathing, my cry, and even my writing! So here it is, I want to make Psalm 68 not just my reading, not just a "copy + paste", but I want to write down this wonderful Psalm. This Psalm has in its verse some of the highest revelations in all the Psalms!

Psalm 68 - To the Choir Director. Of David. A Psalm; a Song
  1. Let God arise; let His enemies be scattered; and let those who hate Him flee before Him.
  2. As smoke is driven away, You will drive them away; as wax melts before fire, the wicked will perish before God.
  3. But the righteous will rejoice; they will exult before God and be glad with rejoicing.
  4. Sing to God; sing psalms to His name; triumph in Him who rides through the deserts - for Jah is His name - and exult before Him.
  5. A Father to the orphans and a Judge for the widows is God in His holy habitation.
  6. God causes the solitary to dwell in a household; He brings the prisoners forth into prosperity; but the rebellious dwell in a parched land.
  7. O God, when You went forth before Your people, when You marched through the desert, Sehah
  8. The earth trembled, the heavens also dripped, at the presence of God; Sinai there quaked at the presence of God, the God of Israel.
  9. You shed forth bountiful rain, O God; You confirmed Your inheritance when it languished.
  10. Your living flock dwelt in the land; in Your goodness You provided for the poor, o God.
  11. The Lord gives the command; the women who bear the glad tidings are a great host.
  12. The kings of the armies flee. They flee! And she who abides at home divides the spoil.
  13. Though you lie among the sheepfolds, there are dove wings covered with silver, and its pinions, with greenish-yellow gold.
  14. When the Almighty scattered the kings in the land, it snowed in Zalmon.
  15. O mighty mountain, o mountain of Bashan, o many-peaked mountain, o mountain of Bashan:
  16. Why do you look with envy, O many-peaked mountains, at the mountain on which God desires to dwell? Indeed Jehovah will dwell there forever.
  17. The chariots of God are twenty thousand, thousands upon thousands; the Lord is among them, as at Sinai, in the sanctuary.
  18. You have ascended on high; You have led captive those taken captive; You have received gifts among men, even the rebellious ones also, that Jehovah God may dwell among them.
  19. Blessed be the Lord, who day by day loads us with good; God is our salvation. Selah
  20. God is to us a God of deliverance, and with Jehovah the Lord are goings forth even from death.
  21. Indeed God will smash the head of His enemies, the hairy crown of him who goes about in his guiltiness.
  22. The Lord said, I will bring them again from Bashan; I will bring them again from the depths of the sea,
  23. That you may bathe your foot in blood, that the tongue of your dogs may have their portion from the enemies.
  24. They have seen Your goings, O God, the goings of my God, my King, in the sanctuary:
  25. Singers go before; players after; in the midst of virgins sounding the tambourines.
  26. Bless God in the congregations, even Jehovah, O you who are of the fountain of Israel.
  27. There are little Benjamin, who rules them, and the princes of Judah in their company, the princes of Zebulun, the princes of Naphtali.
  28. Your God has commanded your strength; strengthen, O God, that which You have done for us.
  29. Because of Your temple at Jerusalem, kings will bring a gift to You.
  30. Rebuke the animals of the reeds, the herd of bulls among the calves of the peoples, trampling on those who lust after silver; scatter the peoples who take delight in war.
  31. Nobles will come out of Egypt; Cush will quickly stretch out its hand to God.
  32. O kingdoms of the earth, sing to God, sing psalms to the Lord, Selah
  33. To Him who rides upon the ancient heaven of heavens. Behold, He utters His voice, a mighty voice.
  34. Ascribe strength to God; His excellence is over Israel, and His strength is in the skies.
  35. You are awesome, O God, from Your sanctuaries. The God of Israel, He gives strength and power to the people. Blessed be God!
Hallelujah! Blessed be God! [read the article that talks about this psalm - and for which article I posted this psalm here.]

wonderful testimonies from the Winter School of truth

I'm not sure whether you kept an eye on our other blog - the A-Godman is a Normal Christian blog, where we have recently posted some great testimonies from the recent Winter School of the Truth. We will try to link to some of them here, but you will have to visit the Testimonies page to find out what are the latest testimonies posted by the young people. What a privilege to come together under the Lord's speaking and be in the Word for a week! It changes our life - it changes our diet - it changes our concept! We are being renewed! Here are some of the testimonies:
  • the Triune God and the Person and the Work of Christ - I was serving with the younger group, and the title for the topic we went through was “The Triune God and the Person and the Work of Christ“. Even though the title sounds a little deep and intense, as with a lot of messages and in the times with the saints, what seemed at the outset to be quite big and daunting just turned into a gentle infusion of Christ, happening at the speed of life.
  • Our God is Triune to dispense Himself into us! - This year was my third Winter School, and I really enjoyed blending with young people from all over Europe once again! In my locality, I am the only young person, so I really treasure time spent with other young people. I found that that I didn’t have to worry about being ‘cool’ and just focus on consecrating that week to God. By doing this, I gained a lot and I found that even though it was a serving brother giving the message, God spoke to me through the message and I gained a better understanding of The Triune God, who He was as a person and what He accomplished
  • I certainly gained the Lord a lot in this time! - I am very happy that I could participate in the Winter School of Truth – I’m happy the Lord gave me this opportunity. I have experienced a lot this year. I enjoyed very much a lesson I learned related to my lost suitcase (I lost it at the London airport and got it back at the Warsaw airport – I did not have it for 6 days!) Why I say I enjoyed it is in the sense that I realized a lot of things by going through this experience. Before the departure I read a lot of verses on “faith”, that if there would be something I really believe in and give this to the Lord,...
  • What are the five main functions of the Bible? - This was my 3rd time I went to London for the Winter School of the Truth, and for me this might have been the most enjoyable and the most touching young people’s conference until now. The Lord opened my eyes wide and I came to realise many things concerning the Bible, the God-breathed-out Scriptures!
  • The Bible is God’s personal letter to us! - The Bible – A personal letter from God to his children. The Subject of the Winter school of Truth this year was the Bible, and what I enjoyed was that the Bible was a physical expression of God. God the Spirit is expressed through the Bible as His embodiment. God the Spirit resides in His Word and if we do not read it we cannot touch God, since the Bible is the dwelling place of God.
  • The Bible is truly the Word of God! - The completeness of the Bible. Bible does not hide anything. In the Lord Jesus’ genealogy it says that His ancestor was Solomon, who was born of David and Urias’ wife, Bathsheba. This history was not very glorious but it’s recorded in the Bible. If the Bible were written by men, they surely would have not included the sinful deeds of their forefathers. So, this proves that the Bible is the Word of God.
  • In the Bible we see God’s heart’s desire! - All Scriptures is God-breathed and profitable for teaching, for conviction, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, fully equipped for every good work (2 Tim 3:16-17).
These and many other articles filled with the enjoyment of Christ await you via the A-God-Man Blog :) Lord, make us those who continually enjoy You, whatever happens!
